Research group Separation Sciences

December 1 2003, the Board of the University of Professional Education in
Tilburg, the Netherlands has initiated a research groupe in Separation Sciences.
Besides an associate professor (reader), the research group consists of
a number of coworkers (internal knowledge circle) and an advisory board
(external knowledge circle). This latter group contains experts from several
scientific fields.
The research group is focusing on three major goals, viz. research, education
and internationalization. Initiation of research projects, stimulation and
realization of cooperative research programs, and the execution of contract
research are of high priority. In relation herewith, the development and
dissemination of knowledge among teachers, students and others selfevidently
is also of great importance.
Embedding of the university in an international network allowing the mutual
exchange of teachers, students and knowledge is very important for a consistent
development of research and education programs.
In 2008 the name of the Research Group is changed into
